We spent the long weekend with some fabulous friends, the Kapci's, in Prescott. It was an awesome time, despite the fact that Grace got way too little sleep and was a bit of a cranky-pants.
Turns out the Kapci's have a similar attitude towards food as my dad's family. There was lots of it, and everything was amazing! There was this monkey bread that was like nothing I have ever seen before. Imagine the best thing you have ever eaten and then multiply it by ten. Or twenty. I thought about asking for the recipe, but I witnessed Amanda's mom making it, and I can't even go there. It's a work of art.
We spent most of the weekend playing with the girls, at one point there were five little girls under 4! So much fun, and of course, so much drama- most of which was instigated by my sweet child. She had a blast and loved the fireworks. Thanks to Amanda's dad, we had the best fireworks spot on earth. I know I tend to exaggerate a bit, but this is no lie! We were on top of a huge hill overlooking the Prescott valley and were far enough away that the girls weren't scared. It was perfect!
Of course, Kevin took a million pictures, so I'll share a few:

Ohhh you're so sweet!!! We had a blast too, we love you guys and we can't wait till next year, it's tradition now you know!!! :)

You could TOTALLY make the monkey bread (no greese involved, yeah!!)
